Our project Better rEal-world healTh-daTa distributEd analytics Research platform (BETTER) has been funded within the Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON). Our team at Politecnico di Milano (with Pietro Pinoli, Prof. Cinzia Cappiello, and Prof. Stefano Ceri) will be partnering with several other universities:

as well as research hospitals:

Our unit has been funded for ~640K Euros and we will sponsor many Research and PhD positions. Mainly, our team will be involved in:

• Work Package 4 of the projects, handling “Health datasets FAIRification and preprocessing”, overcomeing cross-border barriers to health data integration, access, FAIRification, and preprocessing.

• Use Case 1 “Paediatric Intellectual Disability”, dealing with the integration of genomic and phenotypic data from paediatric rare diseases to decipher pathways of intellectual disability.
